Taste is fruity, a touch more caramel and chocolate with a roasty bitterness on the finish. Thin to medium body with a smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Very good.

Pours murky brown, a bit of a ruby tinge, beige bubbles, a slop of sediment comes out despite a careful pour. Aroma- lots of dark malts, bready, yeasty, chocolate and cocoa notes. Taste- chocolatey hints, malt, slight vinous undertones, bitter coffee hints in the aftertaste. Easy drinking, pretty good.

Cask at Pigs Ear. Cloudy dark brown beer! Bubbly pale tan head. Light dry palate. Malt dominates the somewhat insipid Summit hops. Dry finish. Expecting so much more from a Summit hopped beer.
