The Bar Mates series is a line of beers made in collaboration with some of our favorite bars in the Netherlands. With these beers we thank them for supporting the craft beer community.

In this edition we teamed up with Hoorn’s Eet- en speciaalbierencafé De Klinker. Together we created a modern take on a traditional Gose combining Sea Salt, Peach, and Roses.

330ml can. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with average to huge, firm, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish and tart-ish, fruity and minimally floral aroma, notes of peach, unripe peach, some nectarine, a touch of Martini, whiffs of coriander. Taste is sweet-ish and tart-ish, spicy, fruity, and minimally floral, hints of coriander, disguised hints of peach, nectarine, a touch of rose petals, a mild salty touch as well. Watery texture, soft and minimally dry palate, fine and soft carbonation. Nice composition, well balanced, not overdone, refreshing - good.

Fairly hazy golden dull orange with a small white head. Aroma certainly shows off there roses upfront with corn, malt, lemon and peach. Flavour is moderate sour and heavy salty. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
