[33cl bottle at a Greek eatery in Reading] A straw coloured pour with a fast fading white head; grainy aroma; dry grainy taste with a light grassy bitterness to finish. Not bad.

Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of grain and light malt. Really not much going on, though to be fair it’s flavour couldn’t stand up against the excellent souvlaki that I had with it. Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with moderate to high carbonation.

Bottle at Panellēnion restaurant, Kalabaka, Greece Tuesday 1st September 2020 after a 19.5km hike around the Meteora Monasteries in 37c heat and then a short walk back from the campsite. Pours gold with a white head, excellent clarity. Wow this has almost nothing about it at all, cold, light (*very light bitterness) it is so bland. Ok
