Clear golden coloured body with a nice two centimetre tall off-white microfoamed head that stays afloat for a long time. Aroma of deep key limes, a touch of pepper, some subtle light brine and salt with a hint of cleanser and some astringency in the mix as well. Light-bodied; Strong key lime and lemon citrusey flavours dominate with a subtle and soft brine and salt quotient that make this seem initially as more of a gose than a 'true' kettle-soured beer with a light wheat and coriander seed freshness that makes this even easier-drinking than expected. Aftertaste shows the key limes and lemons with a dry grassy and hay profile that makes this very easy-drinking and subdued and a pure 'summer drink' than one of complex flavours that change over time, which is an okay thing of course. Overall, a nice and fresh, tart, fruity and dry beer that hits the right notes throughout with some light herbal elements and only a touch of sweetness at all, with a deep crisp coriander seed freshness which is perhaps the strongest here, in a good way. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Aldi in Manassas, Virginia on 19-August-2020 for US$6,99 for the full six pack, sampled at my house here in Washington on 25-September-2020.

Can from Aldi shared. Thanks Nick. Pours a clear, pale straw color with a small white head. Light grain and lime aromas on the nose. Watery with more grainy texture and lime on the palate. Some sweetness, but a touch dry on the finish.
