Our modern version of the classic porter style. This beer is very dark yet deceivingly delicate on the palate with roasted grains, berry fruits and a hint of smoke lending complexity.

Bottle at Craigs, small bubbly head,very deep but not completletly opaque brown color, aroma of wood , coal and dark bread with a hint of umami, flavor of of wood , umami and some dark chocolate and a hint of coconut, quite sweet but mellow. Nice and enjoyable.

Thin beige head left a cover on a rich brown coloured body. Medium bodied, smooth with minimal carbonation. Big tasting beer with malt, dark spirits, demerara & woody hints. Very nice.

330ml bottle. Dark reddish brown with a minimal tan head. Aroma is leather, chocolate. Flavour is complex, red berries, chocolate, liquorice, leather, warming alcohol. Excellent beer

Aus der Flasche (Vintage 2011) im 2016-03 getrunken. Im Vergleich zu einer aktuellen Abfüllung kommt dieses alte Porter mit einer tollen kräftigen Süße und Malzigkeit daher, das ergibt eine hervoragende Balance und gleicht jeden unangenehmen Bitterton aus. Perfekt!

Bottle from Tad, many thanks! Dark brown colour, beige foam. Very subtle aroma of smoke, leather, chocolate, roasted malts. Easy drinkable, not very alcoholic. nice porter.

Bottle. Dark brown with shades of black and a nice beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, dark chocolate and a whiff of smoke. Taste is malts, dark chocolate, some coffee, a little bit of dark fruits and delicate smoke. Finish showcases a little bit of bitter hops and tartness. Medium carbonation. Very balanced. Alcohol is extremely well hidden. Delicious.

Višnja 666 and Pilot Goran flew this from Edinburgh in the summer of 2017. Thanks for sharing! Dark brown, moderate off-white head. Roasty, fruity, cookie dough. Sweet. Medium body, thick and creamy, nice finish. Good, but not impressive.

Smooth malty caramelly beginning. Not too much depth, dry with a rich thick body. Roast, caramel, moderate bitterness. Grainy aftertaste, nice.
