Bottle. Deep golden beer. Clear. Tall frothy white head. The aroma is malty and estery. Almost banana-like. Nice. Medium body. Sweet malty taste. Those cute esters again. Very interesting.

An amber beer with a nice tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of straw and caramel. The flavor is very sweet malty with notes of caramel, fruit, and straw, the fruits being peaches and oranges. The end is nicely bitter to balance the sweetness. I find the body a bit thin inspite of the 6.3% ABV.

Bottle. Unpleasant apple aroma. Copper colour, no head. Sweet flavour with a hint of malt, fruit and vomit. Also a little peppery.

(Bottle 50 cl) Dark golden, almost amber, clear beer with a creamy head. Very strong and sweet beer which feels somewhat alcoholic and not that refined. The style is like a pale bock, same style as Carlsberg’s Elefant-beer but more full and sweet. 291103

Bottle: Orangey colour, firm off-white head; bready nose (cookies) with some traces of citrus and well hidden hops; initial malty sweetness with some traces of honey; sweetish flavour; short bitter-sweet aftertaste

(bottle) Orange amber colour with a small white diminishing head. Malty and slight sweet aroma. Also malty taste with a soft initial sweetness that turns into a quite fruity and a soft hopbitter finish. A remarkable and somewhat “heretic” brew for Germany, that tastes not of the well-known Reinheitsgebot. As it is not a buttered taste (diacetyl), I assume it could be some ascorbic acid.

Marcipan and potato malt aroma. Orange amber, low carbonation, lowish creamy head. Fruity sweet malt flavors, bitterhop afterplay. A bit too sweet but otherwise solid.
