Bright clear gold beer, small white head. Palate is smooth and semi dry. Smooth dry malt, slightly grainy. Touch of dry cream. Little spice and unsweet bubblegum ester. Bitter peel hops - orange and lesser grapefruit. Dry finish. Strong peel bitter linger.

Bottle in Gabrovo, Bulgaria - bought from an online UK shop. Pours perfectly clear gold, lightly effervescent, with a frothy white head. The nose has dry pine needles, dry pale bread, a bit of citrus peel, some minerals. Light-medium sweet flavor with moderately assertive bitter grass, further pine needles, simple dry, pale and bready malt structure. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with more dry, grassy minerals, some crunchy and grainy malts, a bit of dirty hay, orange rind. A bit overly bitter but not bad on the whole.

330ml Bottle - Golden with a white head. Biscuity malt, lemon and a hint of lime in the aroma. Nicely balanced taste with zesty lemon, biscuity malt and a hint of grapefruit all vying for attention.

Bottle 330ml. [ As Harviestoun The Ridge ].Clear light medium yellow color with a average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, straw, pale malt, light to moderate hoppy, grass - hay, citrus notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, fruity, pale malt, citrus. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140314]

On keg at the Guildford Arms. Appearance - golden and very fizzy. Decent head. Nose - pears maybe going into canned peaches. Taste - slightly sweaty but lemon or grapefruit is the main note. Loads of pith too. Palate - light to medium bodied with a slightly over carbonated texture and a long finish which is slightly too dry relative to the finish. Overall - the over carbonation makes it unbalanced. Too dry because of that. Might be excellent on cask I’d guess.

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear honey gold, thin white head, nice lacing. Aromas of earthy hops, citrus and a light cattiness. Taste brings some light caramel malt sweetness, good bitter kick. More fuggled earthiness. Finishes a little too sticky to be truly refreshing, but good.

Bouteille 33cl courtesy of Antoine, split with Danko. Couleur dorée, col blanc modéré. Arôme offre de suite un fruité européen ponctué par un houblonné anglais EKG que je trouve trop dominant. Note fleuri et fruitée-citronnée reste fort légère. Palais est légèrement amer avec un caractère qui, malgré le style, reste fort centré sur l’anglais. Note ce côté chardon avec un fini doux sur ce fini grains-sec. Bière légère et facile à boire, mais qui profite peu de l’ajout de caractère hors amertume. EKG et Appolo confèrent à eux deux trop d’amertume et laissent peu de place au caractère de l’Amarillo surtout en terme d’arôme.

Clear golden color with a fine white head. Nutty and a bit hoppy aroma. Mid bodied. Moderate sweet and an ok bitterness. Average carbonation. Fresh malty, hoppy and mild fruity flavor. Nice easy drinkable ale.

From a shared 33cl bottle at RBNG-14. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma of mild hops, malt and hints of caramel. Moderate sweet with a fairly mild bitterness. A bit weak in flavour, but pleasant enough and easy to drink but slightly boring. (2014-02-15 - Grand Tasting, Fredriksten festning, Halden)
