Bottle at home, 15th January 23. Pours a clearish golden orange, characteristic frothy big head. Aroma is yeast, earthy, some clove and light banana. Taste is refreshing, chewy toffee banana, clove and yeast, some citrusy notes and overall a decent Weiss

500ml bottle as Wildbrau Grandauer Weisbier from HoTM. It pours cloudy orangey - blonde with a decent fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, doughy wheat bread, chalky green banana, touch of veg, foamy banana candy, hay and tangy orange marmalade. The taste is fairly crisp, dry upfront, bitter - sweet, tangy orange marmalade on wheat bread, tangerine, touch of spice, pepper, clove rock and soft mellow banana that melds in well with a dry, fruity finale. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Rounded and pretty flavourful. A good Weiss.

Moderately sweet and delicately sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Grainy malt and wheat character with notes of bananas, mildly phenolic spice of cloves and vanilla; moderately sweet and fruity finish with notes of banana and a tinge of citrus. 26.X.15

Bottle (Thanks to joss): Hazy, golden coloured, quickly collapsing small white head; moderate fruity nose (mainly bananas, mixed with cloves); moderate sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, soft, but a bit fizzy and oily MF; wheaty-fruity finish with a light illusion of citrus-fruit and hops in the aftertaste. A decent Weizen....
