Orange brown Ok this is mead cut with amaretto Sweet almond notes Light body reasonably dry but gets too much after a while. Maybe in hot cocoa

Amber. Heavy, sickening aroma of almonds and marzipan. Alcohol dry, yet cloying almond flavour.

Bottled. An amber mead with no head. The aroma is sweet and totally dominated by almonds - too much in my opinion. The flavor is extremely sweet with strong notes of almonds on a honey back ground. Liquid marzipan - just a bit too much for me.

(Ceramic bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy amber golden with a tiny off-white head. Aroma is pure almonds that overpowers just about anything else - also in my hotel room when the crock broke Body is medium, smooth. Flavours are very sugary again with almonds overpowering everyting else. This really is marzipan in a bottle But kinda nice in small dose.
