Anchor Saison is a traditional Belgian-style saison with a California twist. The distinctiveness of roasted Belgian wheat malt is enhanced by the peppery, clove-like flavors of a locally cultured saison-style yeast. And, for this release, we chose three California ingredients—lemongrass, lemon peel, and ginger—whose synergy adds a tangy crispness and herbal spiciness to this sharply refreshing, uniquely Californian saison.

slightly opalescent amber colour, large, creamy and long lasting yellowish head; aroma of overripe peach, orange zest oils, grains, floral and ginger bread notes; taste of honey, orange zest bitterness, peach (which is riped on a rainy summer - less sugary, rather watery, slightly bittery) and bread; intensive spiciness of ginger in the aftertaste; good saison

On tap @ BrewDog, Soho. This one has quite deeper cloudy looking orange almost copper colored body. On the top there's a n ice medium sized off-white head, lots of complementary lacework down the sides of the glass. It smells like a saison for sure. Yeasty, some banana, it's a little candy sweet almost. almost white candied sugar and a little apple. I kinda like it, though it's nothing out of the ordinary really. Tastes quite nice also. It's a relatively earthy saison this. Quite up-yeasted - in a good way with canned pear, some more unripe apple. Quite fruity, yeah and somewhat tasty as well. That's a nice old combo. 20.10.2016

355ml bottle. Slightly milky, orangey golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, off-white head. Floral, fruity and minimally spicy aroma, hints of plum, lavender, ginger, clove, a touch of spruce. Taste is moderately sweet caramel malty, slightly spicy, minimally soapy floral, hints of ginger and clove, a touch of liquorice. A bit weird - flavours seem to be more artificially spiced than yeast obtained.
