Crisp deep amber and light ruby tinted body with a great, three centimetre tall tan head - very nice looking. Aroma of deep malt, caramel, flowers, citrus and a touch of nuts - deep and earthy. Medium-bodied; Assertive bite from the hops with a lot of nuttiness from the malt and the hops with some caramel and sweet notes and a touch of earth near the end. Aftertaste shows a lot of grain and malt with some hop notes, but not at the forefront. Overall, a relatively well-balanced beer with a deep and earthy bite from the malt and especially with the hops and only a touch of sugars. Decent to sample, but not a great example of the style - just that of to show off the Centennial varietal. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Washington (Foggy Bottom, Eye Street NW), D.C. on 15-January-2015 for US$2,49 sampled at home in Washington on 15-July-2015, exactly six months later.

Cloudy orange amber, low head. Dishwasher citrus aroma and flavour, kind of artificial. Medium body, slightly thin on the palate, quick finish. A bit unbalanced.

Orange peel, lillies, rosehips on the nose. Clear amber, thick yellow head, nice lacing. Whole orange and rosehips, lemongrass at midpalate. Bitter lilly finish. Medium body, resinous, and warm. Good balance and complexity, but slightly boozy. Tasty.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Pours a clear copper with a thin fizzy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of citrus and earthy hops, apple, mild toasted malt. The taste is citrus, tropical hops, pale malt. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness, decent balance.
