200ml draught, early morning at Mikkeller, Kastrup. Black in the glass, spotty lacing, filmy layer. Roasted black chocolate aromas, promising. Solid cocoa-chocolate flavours with a backdrop of coffee towards a smoothly roasted finish, mid-sweet. Well depth to it. Good sipper qualities. (Copenhagen Airport, 07.05.2023).
0,2 litre taster, on tap at Mikkeller CPH Airport. Black with little beige head. Toasted malts, Chocolate, coffee, sweetness and some bitterness.

Sample at the taproom. Black pour with some brown around the edges, with a medium thick khaki head that recedes gradually to a dense film. Patches of lacing. Aroma of roast malt dark chocolate and coffee. Full-bodied with flavors of charred malt, bittersweet chocolate, anise and coffee. The finish is roasty with a malt and fudge aftertaste. Good beer all around.

On tap at Peders, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out dark cocoa, with some charcoal, and chalk. Flavour is full of dark cocoa, light earthy notes, and light roast. Tastes much better than the nose suggests. Very good chocolatey impie.

Draft. A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of coffee, roasted malt, and dark chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of dark chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, and a bit of alcohol, leading to a dry roasted finish.

Tap@Peders Birthday/DankHouse TTO event (07/12/2019) - black pour with a thin beige ringed head. Sweet and roasted dark malty with some opulent chocolate and coffee roast, some ashy burnt malty earthy notes, big full bodied, dark malty finish. Gorgeous.
