Brauhaus Döbler Doppelbock, Steini-Fläschchen von den Getränkerittern. - Tiefdunkles Kupferrotbraun, klar. - In der Nase eher blasses, zart verbranntes dunkles Malz, leicht nussig, zart fruchtig, sehr milde hopfenwürzige Hopfung. - Antrunk kräftig dunkel- und röstmalzig, mit Nuß und schwarzer Brotkruste, schwach angebrannt. Feine Karamelsüße, dezente aber gediegene Frucht (Kirsche), ein wenig Orangenschale. Milde herbale Hopfenherbe. Etwas zu stark rezent, leise alkoholische Wärme. Im Abgang malzbitter und mild hopfenherb. - Stark dunkel- und röstmalziger Bock, für meinen Geschmack zu derb röstig, davon abgesehen rund und fast elegant. (24.1.2023.)

bottle, danke Günther. Dark chestnut, brown cream. juicy roast malt aroma. Medium body, malty chocolate cake, a bit salt and umami, candy corn. On the sweet dry side overall.

Bottle. Dark copper-hued brown body with a big creamy off-white head. Nose is dense caramel tones, dark malts, hints of nuts.

Bottle: Clear, ruby-amber coloured with a small off-white foamy layer, sweet caramelly nose, some dried fruits detectable; moderate sweet flavour with a very subdued bitterness, not too full bodied; shorter sweet caramelly and fruity finish. Good, but not really exciting…

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, slightly ruby chestnut-brown colour with a beige medium-sized foamy head. Bready toasty malty aroma with notes of caramel, draff and a whiff of chocolate and alcohol-soaked berries and cherries. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Toasty malt-character with caramel, slightly vinous fruity notes and dark chocolate; sweet and delicately hop bitter toast-malty finish with hints of chocolate and subtle fruity notes in the aftertaste. A gem. 01.XI.13
