Sample (thanks fonefan!). Amber colour, small head. Aroma is bready, some floral, mild dried fruity tones. Flavour pretty much follows the same pattern of the elements of the aroma. More crisp than most Red Ales.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, redd-ish, dark amber colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white head. Minimally toasty, mellow malty and fruity, hoppy aroma, hints of red berries, blue berries, a touch of cherry, whiffs of dark rye bread. Taste is slightly toasty, minimally nutty and bready, mellow malty, fruity hoppy, notes of red berries, hints of cherry, blue berries, subtle sweetness, hints of dark rye bread; minimally metallic overtones in the finish. Minimally creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Well hopped, well balanced - very enjoyable interpretation of the style.

0.33 l bottle from 'Bierothek', best before March 2022. A little hazy, ruby with a medium large, frothy, stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, quite fruity, slightly resiny aroma of caramel, red fruits, pine and a touch of nuts. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, gently fruity and slightly resiny taste of caramel, red fruits, quite some pine and a touch of nuts, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly dry, quite resiny finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Tasty americanised Red Ale, the smell reminds me of Arrogant Bastard, but it's less thick and rich. Still good!
