Bottle at home, 06/08/16. Lightly hazed orange with a well appointed white head that retains well, carbonation evident. Nose is light floral notes, grain, straw, lemon rind. Taste comprises caramel, light banana esters, clove, butterscotch, straw, faint lemon drizzle. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Ok hefe on a hot day.

Hazy yellow with thin head. Refreshing. Has a light citrus. Also a touch of fruity hop in the finish.

500ml bottle. Pours a very cloudy pale orange colour with a large frothy white head diminishing slowly. Huge amount of sediment in the bottle - swirling this around led to the extremely murky appearance (it was just hazy before).
Aroma of wheat, lemon, banana, and some mild spicing. Flavour is quite citrusy - lemon and grapefruit are stronger than the banana making it more bitter than I was expecting, there is some sweetness too though, also wheat, yeast, mild spicing. Overall: for a non-German wheat beer this was actually pretty decent, but they’re still much better at this style than we are - I liked it but still prefer actual German ones.

Fra keg på Beer Rebellion Gipsy Hill 28 Nov 15. Delt med Rune. Lavt kremaktig skum. Uklar. Syrlig aroma av gjær & sitrus. Smaken appelsin & mango. Holder seg syrlig og blir ikke for søt. Bra.

Bottle from Cambridge Wine Merchants (Bridge St), consumed at home. Light yellow, not as cloudy as your average Hefe... more in the ’hazy’ category. A handsome and tempting white head crowns it off. Smells different than I expected... less banana and more citrus, grass, even a bit of leather and funk. Tastes a bit sour - cue the grapefruit - with a straight bitter finish, long and dry. Bitter hoppy aftertaste. After drinking it for a while, I start to get a bit more of the banana/clovey business, but it certainly stands out from the style. Not overly mad about it but certainly don’t dislike it either. Slightly above average.
