500 ml bottle. Unclear golden with a fluffy head. Floral hops, mango, passion fruit, lemon zest, sourdough, slightly resinous, pale malt, freshly mowed grass, hay and straw. Hoppy zesty grassy bitterness, grainy fruity finish. Light to medium bodied, watery texture, lively carbonated, dry zesty fruity grainy bitter finish. Superbly refreshing and very tasty, great for this low abv!

0,5 l bottle from Erzengel. Thanks a lot! Pale golden in the glass, cloudy with a nearly two finger white foamy head. Grassy aroma. Taste starts grainy, some bitterhop, imcreasing dry malt. Low carbonation.

Intense floral citric nose. The beer starts mild and slightly grainy. Intense bitter, dry with a neutral back. Bitter, intense bitter. Deep but not too aromatic in body. Grainy dry, the bitter and citric hops are dominating the picture. Nice sessionable stuff

Schanzenbräu Sommerbier, ein unfiltriertes Schankbier von 3,5 %, Flasche von Getränke Kistner, FO. - Goldgelb, gut hefetrüb; schöner Schaum mit Ringen. - In der Nase gedämpfte doch aromatische, elegant zitrusfruchtige Herbe, etwas Hefe, leicht getreidiges helles Malz: nur wenig deutet auf ein alkoholärmeres Bier hin. - Antrunk verdächtig schlank aber keineswegs dünn, dafür spritzig hefeweich mit leichter, schön trockener zitrusfruchtig-herber Hopfung, blasser Grapefruit, feiner (wenngleich leichter) Malzigkeit und zarten Anklängen an Weizenmalz (obwohl laut Etikett nur Gerstenmalz verbraut wurde). Im Abgang schlanke, hintergründige zitrusfruchtige Herbe. - Charakterstarkes Schankbier mit weitaus mehr Geschmack als die niedrige Drehzahl erwarten läßt. (24.8.2021.)
