330ml bottle [as "Camba's Bierlegenden: BroyHahn"]. Minimally milky, dark yellow-ish to light orange, golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity, slightly herbal-leafy and minimally floral, hoppy as well as spicy, pale malty aroma, notes of lemon tea, some lemon balm, a touch of overripe yellow gooseberry. Taste is fruity and minimally floral hoppy and sweet-ish, pale malty, notes of white grapes, gooseberry, lychee, melon, hints of lemon tea, diluted hints of mirabelle and apricot, a very light mineral touch of silica. Minimally creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, soft carbonation. Very fruity, highly drinkable - good!

19-01-21 // 330ml bottle. Modern approach to rebuild the historic style Broyhan. Unfiltered pale golden. Small white head. Nose of semi-sweet dry green apples and wood alongside a wineous hop aroma (Nelson Sauvin). Taste is cideresque semi-sweet. --- Beer merged from original tick of Braumeisteredition #27 (Götz Steinl & Anton Schwarz) - Bräuhahn on 20 Jan 2021 at 19:59 - Score: 7. 0.33 l bottle from 'Craftbeer-Shop.com', best before May 2021. Slightly hazy, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, gently yeasty-spicy, moderately fruity-floral aroma of lemon peel, gooseberry, white grapes, banana and a touch of clove. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, minimally sourish, gently yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity-floral taste of lemon peel, gooseberry, white grapes, banana and hints of clove, followed by a short, slightly bitter, minimally tart, gently yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Quite refreshing, very pleasant, tasty. The first Broyhan I could put my hands on, so no idea if it's true to the style. This one lies somewhere between a Hefeweizen and a Belgian Saison, leaning more towards the Hefeweizen.
