Bottle courtesy of Jonas, cheers Jonas! Had this during Beer School with Natalya Watson, Thursday 12th February 2021, we had pizza for tea from Trattoria Giuseppe in the village. Pours dark gold, edging towards amber, good clarity, slight chill haze perhaps. Light caramel, digestive biscuit and subtle fruit in the mouth and on the nose, well balanced Festbier, pleasant maltiness throughout. Very nice. Appears nailed on for the style.

Flascherl (Grueße Gen Garching!!!): Clear, copper coloured, small & stable white head, moderate sweet-bitter nutty-caramelly nose, herbal hops in the background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, pleasant MF; slightly lingering bitter-sweet nutty-caramelly finish with a mild bitter aftertaste. Pleasantly balanced, malt-accented Festbier...

Bottle. Clear deep golden-amber color with fluffy eggshell head. Aroma is caramel, honeycomb, all the proper Festbier aromas. Taste is caramel, honeycomb again, not too sweet, classic mild sulphury Festbier flavours. Moreish and chewy, low and natural carbonation. Wow, well-made!

Dark amber, low offwhite head. Bisquitty malt, bitter herbal hops, Medium full, dry chewy caramel body, crisp bitter hops, herbal spices in the finish. Good Fall/Winter brew.
