Bottle 0.33l, many many thanks, Colin! Clear, dark red to brown colored. AROMA- very spicy, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg..., gingerbread, chocolate. FLAVOR- smooth, slightly sweet, slightly bitter, strong spiciness again, chocolate, gingerbread, cocoa cake, caramel. Medium bodied.
Delicious.

On nitro at The Ale Project. Pours black. Cinnamon, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, I want to say cardamom, little clove maybe. A beautiful spiced dark ale. I'm willing to celebrate this...

Tap at Roundhouse. Dark hazy brown pour - like a coke float. Aroma is Christmas - cloves and cinnamon, etc - more than beer. Taste is similarly heavy on the spice. Too much for me. Not bad just doesn't appeal to me. Had it lots in bottles during winter 2017/18 - changed my mind. Really good interpretation of Christmas. Smooth palate, cinnamon and clove but not too much. Slightly sticky with lingering roasted malt and winter spice - braised orange peel, cinnamon, clove. Very good. Raised from 3.0 (I think) to 3.7.
