Can at the Old Piggery, picked up at Beer Direct Buxton, 17/09/20. Moderately hazed orange golden with a well presented white cap that retains well. Nose is tangerine, orange pith, sweet malts, ripe melon, hint of pineapple. Taste comprises bitter orange, light pine, melon, papaya, grass, splash of grapefruit zest. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with lightly assertive juicy hop bitterness. Solid pale.

Holds moderate sweetness, pale bread, plump citrus fruits, tangerine, ripe lemon, some melon, a little white grape. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, more melon, cantaloupe, tangerine, light rindy bitterness. Highly drinkable.

Can, picked up at the brewery, lockdown style. Moderate haze on a bright gold. Fairly dense, lasting, white foam. Nose has a load of peach and apricot. Ripe strawberry. Bit of a peach cobbler thing going on. Custard malts. A beery version of a fruit smoothie. Doesn’t taste quite as sweet as the aroma suggests, although there’s lots of ripe fruit here. Decent amount of zesty bitterness. Light to medium body. Nicely juicy with fine carbonation. Bittersweet finish. Nice one.
