White stout is for the seeker of new tastes. This is a light coloured beer, creamy in texture with all the smoky, chocolate, coffee & vanilla complexity you would expect from a classic dark winter stout.

(Can) Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of grain with hints of dough and cardboard. Nice mouthfeel - medium bodied, smooth with plenty of fine bright carbonation. The taste is unusual and rather odd. Cake mixture, sweet dough, doughnuts, hints of white chocolate. There’s also bitterness which normally should provide balance, but seems to clash. Unusual, odd, not really to my taste.

375ml can into glass. From BWS, Brighton-Le-Sands. Only the second 'white' Stout I've ever seen. Aroma of chocolate and cocoa, hazy Amber beer with a foamy white head. Medium body, slight effervescence. Taste and finish of sweet chocolate doughnut. Interesting, a little gimmicky but pleasant enough.

Can. Not quite clear gold with an inch of white head. 3+ Smells like melted cheap vanilla ice cream with some caramel. Very sweet but perhaps not quite as sweet as feared with a little dull but welcome bitterness providing a finish. Grew on me a bit but yeah nah.
