Reviewed from notes.
Can to snifter.
Appearance: dark brown to black color with a thin tan foamy head which slipped off pretty quick and barely left any lace
Aroma: milk chocolate, dark chocolate, black coffee, roasty character, vanilla, cinnamon and some caramel
Flavor: leans into the sweetness initially and allows some roast to enter in; finishes chocolatey sweet
Texture: medium bodied - maybe a touch under; between sessionable and being a sipper; some smoothness and a light dryness
Overall: pretty good pastry impy ale worthy of coming back to.

16 oz. can. Pours black, with a small, dense, tan head. The nose is mocha, cinnamon, caramel, leather, toast, and dark cocoa. Sweet and malty, with a dry, bitterness. Medium to heavy body, grainy, and chewy. Quality.

Canned 1/13/23, drunk 4/15/23. Dark. Tan head to ring. Coffee, vanilla, coconut. Sweet, maybe not too much so? Some definite dark, espresso like roast. Sweet, not terribly so. Chocolate, coffee, strong roast and intensely watery texture. Tastes like a Guinness with coffee in it. Why is this so thin and watery?!

Can. A- Slightly earthy, mild roast. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Roasty, cocoa, mild coffee. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Saved this beer for a celebration after qualifying for the State XC meet. Unfortunately, just like my team, this beer was a big let down when the assumptions were great going in. Not much aroma, the flavor was pretty bland. Not offensive, but nothing great.

16 ounce can. Jet black pour. Dark brown head dissipates to a small creamy cap. Roasted malt aroma hints at licorice and coffee. Sweet roasted malt flavor upfront. Notes of espresso, molasses and vanilla bean. Sticky mouthfeel. Notes of treacle candy and brown butter in finish. A very nice stout.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a pitch black with a finger of brown head that dissipates. Lovely coffee forward nose with dark chocolate and cacao nib aromas. Thick bodied more coffee and cacao on the palate. Big and chewy stout. Delicious stuff.
