Clear amber pour with a decent white head; aromas of malt, nuts, bread, a hint of fruit. Taste is quite similar, adding some herbs and marmalade. Well-rounded.

A Frangn Seidla vom Raab, Flasche vom Landbierparadies24. (1.8.2023.)

Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus, Pffafenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home Thursday 8th September 2022 listening to Steve Lamaq on 6Music cooking Mousakka. Pours hazy warm orange/gold with a white head, malty aroma, soft moutheel, there is a little bit of bitterness trying to muscle it's way through. A touch of honey, malty in the flavour department. Fine

Fläschla: Deep golden with an orangey sheen, hazy to cloudy, loose but stable off-white head; mild mineralic and honeyish-malty nose with a rural-herbal background; mild to moderate dryish bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, a bit fizzy, a bit tart; lingering dryish fruity-malty and slightly hoppy finish. Not great, but still well drinkable...

(bottle, 5.0% abv) Hazy, amber colour with a big but collapsing beige frothy head. Yeasty, slightly toasted malty aroma with notes of caramel, shades of smoke, as well as subtle fruity accents, like apricots. Mildly sweet and delicately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Slightly toasted cara-malty base with present fruity accents and mildly hoppy spice, which is getting slightly stronger towards the dry-ish sweet-bitter finish. The fruitiness (although not infected) and lack of bitterness are slightly confusing. 09.VII.17
