En tulipa, color marrón con destellos ambarinos, espuma marfil de mediana retención. En nariz pega un ramalazo muy agradable de malta tostada, caramelo, regaliz, anís, pan de centeno...En boca tiene una entrada dulce, con notas de caramelo, malta, anís y arrope equilibrado con un retrogusto ligeramente amargo, de chocolate negro y unas gotas de licor, textura mas bien acuosa, final largo. Una cerveza interesante y digna de catar. Bien.

bottle from aldi, magaluf, mallorca. brown, light brown head. aroma is quite mild. nuts, malts, italian food herbs, faint honey or mead like note. Flavor is spices, malts, brown sugar, licorice, ending in a spicy but not hoppy bitterness. In fact it does remind me of the countless danish traditional christmas ales i've tasted over the years. Perhaps they have somehow been an inspiration to this one. Or perhaps they just followed a belgian duble recipe and emptied the spice rack at the end.

Bouteille 33cl, BB 09/10/2020, xmas gift pack, merci Juanra. Cuivrée, col fin crémeux blanc-cassé. Arôme au nez malté finement grillé, le tout sous couvert de fines effluves de winter spices dont anisé. Petite note de chocolat en retrait. Palais est malté, caramel, pâle, cristal malt, un peu grillé avec une fine amertume sur la fin. Petit effet biologique avec une douceur mielleuse de châtaigne et une note épicée qui revient en fin de bouche - anisé.

Marrón. Buena espuma muy muy duradera. Malteada y especiada en el aroma, difícil. En boca carácter dulce. Malteada, caramelo y especias le dan complejidad, pero no logra equilibrar bien todo ello. Regusto de azúcar tostada bastante duradero. Mejora cuanto más esta en la copa...

Bottle: Pours dirty, hazy brown with a large, chunky beige head. Vanilla, licorice aroma....a hint of root beer. Taste is bready, toasted caramel, vanilla, chocolate cake.....slight spicing. Pretty good....not over-spiced....

Brown colour with a beige head with good lasting and moderate lacework. Aroma has notes of toasted malts, light caramel and spices. Flavor is toasty with lots of spices, mainly rosemary and anise, some fruit in syrup notes. The final is spiced with toasted hints.

330ml Bottle - Copper with a slight haze. Spicy, fruity and malty aroma with notes of raisins, caramel and aniseed. Malty, fruity and slightly metallic taste with notes of caramel, fruitcake, cinnamon and aniseed. Perfectly drinkable and fairly enjoyable, although I was expecting a bit more body for a beer of this strength.
