0,33l bottle at home courtesy of Powy, big thanks. No obvious BB date. black color, very very small very dark coffee colored head. smells of coconut, vanille, medical, artifical candy, spices, earthy, some wood, bourbon. very nice but also bit weird smell, rather intense. full body, light carbonation, slick moutfheel. tastes earthy, spices, citric, light coconut, weird spices, candiish, medical, some sweetness, light wood, some bourbon, some vanilla. finishes light to medium sweet with notes of coconut, medical sweet candy notes and some vanilla. bit weird one, bit boozy, bit of everything. flavours are all over the place, lacks some clarity. quite nice but just weird. I am not sure what Kalamasi is, but it doesnt work that well in this beer.

Bottle @ home. Opaque black color, average sized light brown colored head. Smell and taste malts, some peat, sweetish. Heavy. Some alcohol. Light roast background. Sweet up front but heavy in the finish. Bit unbalanced. Ok.

Black, tan head. Big, boozy aroma from the barrels, coconut and coffee taste with some caramel. Big and boozy, too coconutty for me to have a lot of though.

Draft. A black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, roasted malt, and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, bourbon, wood, and roasted malt, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

Bottle shared at/with Maakun’s. Black with thin tan head. Smells of cointreau, orange liquor. Tangerine and heavy aromatic blood oranges with cloves and cinnamon, on top of deep roasted chocolate malts. Some macadamia earthy nuttiness, some staranise, rooibos, nutmeg, dark honey, distant roasted coconut, bourbon grain and vanilla. This is candy, like the filling of a nice chocolate. That would go well with coffee. Big sweet and moderate bitter. Full body and soft carbonation. Very tasty.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Black with light brown head. Some rubbing alcohol on the nose. Strong tangerine, kumquat, Cointreau, light bourbon, some dark chocolate, vanilla, toffee, soft coconut, a bit of green apple, flowery, cream, plums. Quite sweet and medium bitter. Full bodied with oily feel. It’s quite unusual but I’m quite enjoying this, one of the better Kees BA beers in a while.
