Bottle. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Very dark, chestnut brown. What there is of a head, sticks lazily to the glass. Nose has toasted coconut. Burnt coffee bean. Fruit and nut chocolate. Taste is sweet and chocolatey, with a big, earthy, coffee grind bitterness. Soft, dried fruit twang. Smooth mouthfeel. Rich, coconut milk oiliness. Low carbonation. Fairly well balanced sweet coconut, and cocoa rich chocolate to finish.

Bottle from Wine Rack, West Byfleet. Rich chocolate aroma with definite toasted coconut and some spice. Dark and glossy. Creamy but thin beige head. Medium bitter with some hints of sweetness - dark chocolate with coffee. Low key coconut. The booze come through, especially in the finish. Thick bodied. Creamy. Average carbonation. Astringent finish. Warming. Like a boozy bitter hot chocolate. I like.

Keg at The Salt Horse, Edinburgh in the company of Craig, Stella and kids, Nick and Anna, Saturday 10th February 2018 Pours black with a slim beige head. Aroma suggests it's barrel aged in that I am getting vanilla and a little spirit. Lots of chocolate and a little oomph, soft in the mouth, creamy, its a very good beer. A8 A4 T8 P4 Ov17 4.1

0.33 l bottle from Madrid. Shared at a drinking session with Višnja 666 and Pilot Goran in the summer of 2017. Thanks for bringing this all the way down here! Black, small tan head. Coconut, liquorice, perfumed. Sweet. Medium body, soft carbonation, oily texture, roasty finish. Perfumed, doesn't have a serious feeling to it.

Level 42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Leighton. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Palate is light, dry and has fine crispness for a big beer. Dark malts bring bitter dark chocolate. Mild spice which spills in to the dark fruits underneath. Spicy dry dark chocolate finish. Not bad, a bit dry.
