When the wind is howling down the river and that perfect seam feels just out of reach, it’s time to go for a Single Spey. Just like the cast, this IPA is perfectly balanced. Warrior hops bring out a notable bitterness that is seamlessly counterbalanced with citrusy notes of Cascade, Amarillo, and Mosaic hops. When it’s time to hit the river, don’t forget a Single Spey.

Bright amber, thin head. Not much nose but solid bitterness and clean, slightly biscuity malt backbone. Solid mid-00s IPA.

Okay yellow body and good foam, smells well of juicy hops then pulls back into rotting cabbage so totally throws the thing off. Flavour is a nice balance of malt and sweet hops with plenty of pine. Good chewy mouthfeel, nice oiliness. A pretty decent IPA.

On tap at Tailout, pours a hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma reveals a rather revolting hop character, with lots of stale, boiled vegetables and earthy malt. Flavour is not much more pleasant, with stale earthy, herbal hops, some vegetal notes, and bready malt. Not sure what's wrong here, but the usage of hops has plenty of be desired. Poor.
