Extremely creamy lacing which is white and full. Black colour. Low-roasted malts which is the style. Blackcurrants and tar and liquorice and chocolate malt flavour.

Spent coffee grains. Cold espresso. A pulped Brasilian. Very thick crema on the mouthfeel. Super easy-drinking. Dry and kinda tarty fruity finish. Not astringent or cloying.

A little tart character. A profile like Kostriker with a drinkability of a Czech dunkel. Gorgeous crisp biscuity malt which resonates. Really sparkling beer. The finish is blackcurrants, leather and clotted Devonshire cream.

A truly exceptional masterpiece. Purchased from Hopsters.

Draft sample; definitely Schwarzbier on the nose in terms of maltiness but with an English twist, toffee & caramel, sweet toast, bread & crust, very floral & perfume, light fruity esters suggesting at raisins, subtle cherry, earthy notes, no roast

Flavour is composed of semi sweet, light tang, woody roast, little dried fruit, cake, jamaica cake, earth. Palate is semi sweet, light tang, highish carbonation. Really good for the style.

Keg at BrewDog Leicester. Very dark brown and only slightly translucent. There's a thin layer of khaki head. Floral aroma with touches of fruited caramel, jasmine, pine. Sweet taste, with notes of piney resin, light citrus. Low carbonation. A masterpiece in a tough style to pull off.
