Cotts 2019. Boozy rich Christmas aroma. Darkest brown. Thin beige head. Medium-heavy bitter. Charcoal and some fruit. Medium bodied. On the thin side. Average carbonation. Long finish. I guess it's not aged particularly well - a tad bland.

Shared at the Cotteridge Convention 2019. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a round bubbly light tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, red berry fruits, big peat. The flavour of moderate sweet with a roasty, oily, dry, oaky, light fruit, boozy palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours dark black, thin tan head. Aromas start strangely menthol, but resolve into peated whisky. Taste has more peat, not much of the stout character left. Full-bodied, oily mouthfeel, boozy finish.
