Fles 33cl thuis als Opa Jan. Belgisch gist, orange peel, bittertonen, koriander, steenfruit, abrikoos, kruidig, redelijk volle smaak. (30-3-2025).

Bottle 0,75ltr: Hazy orange/golden coloured brew with an slightly sweet bitter taste and with an not intentional sourness witch i like. Some nice fruity hints but put the ABV up with 1 percent and more spices, for better taste results.

On tap at Bar le Duc, Den Bosch. Golden amber beer, small head. Aroma is malt, spices, fruit, yeast. Taste is quite light, bit watery, not bad but not great

Fles gedeeld door Roelzie. Het is een licht troebel goudgeel bier met een medium witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een moutige wat gistachtige en bloemige geur. De smaak is moutig, kruidig en licht wrang.

Brewery tap. Aroma has butterscotch and yoghurt. Flavor has rancid butter, but also flowery hops and pineapple. Diacetyl all over the place. Disappointing, because this could be a good beer.

Dutch tripel from a to me hitherto unknown brewery, thanks tderoeck. Irregularly lacing, snow white, moussy, stable head, hazy yellow blonde robe with warmer peachy hue. Aroma of banana, coriander seed, lavender soap, fresh basil, white bread, pear, baker's yeast. Sweetish onset, banana ester mixed with pineapple and ripe pear impressions, sourish touch, softish carbonation. Bready malt sweetish body with quite a lot of coriander soapiness towards the end, but not unpleasantly so; very floral as well, almost lavender-like, with long, spicy, leafy hop bitterness following, as well as some gin-like, warming alcohol. Quite expressive tripel, aromatic and sweet - I had too many of these already, but seen for what it is, this is not a bad offering at all.

Sample @ Nieuwjaarsreceptie Gentse Biervereniging. Thanks for sharing! Hazy yellow colour, beige foam. Fruity nose, also very soapy. Rather sweet tripel with light wheat notes and lots of spices. Not very well balanced.

Clear blond beer, big creamy irregular white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: fruity, some citrus, yeast, banana, bit soapy. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter start, very yeasty, banana, bit infected, hoppy, grassy. Aftertaste: yeast, bitter, banana.

On tap @ Bar le Duc. Thin white head. Cloudy blond pour. Bland. Not very well balanced
