From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden yellow with a diminished white head. Aroma is mild spiced and caramel malty. Flavour is sweet and slight mouldy. Mild spiced and solid sweet malty. Spiced finish.

Draught @ brewpub: Poured a hazy yellow with white head. Aroma is fruit and some sourness. The taste is harsh with diacetyl and bitterness of fruit and pale malts.

Draught Hazy yellow with Grünstich ; soms shards of lace from a white head. Parsley, pineapple ester, buttery, infected. Coriander, diacetyl, if not very much, white candi sugar, pale malts. Medium bodied, quite slick. I’m sorry, but Bar-le-Duc has a hygienic problem. Which is a pity, because in essence, the beers are far from badly concepted.
