Can. A dark, dark brown beer with a minimal sized off-white head. Rather vegetal aroma, with coffee, roasted malts and some chocolate hints. It's full-bodied, warming, oily and sweet, and rather soft on the palate. Brown sugar, dark toffee, coffee and a touch of chocolate in the flavor, along with a spiced hint, herbal notes, alcohol and a licorice hint too. Lasting finish. Too green on the nose and a bit sweet and warming. Sort of delicious, sort of way too much. 201107

440ml can. Pitch black with a brown head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, dashes of cinnamon. Taste is very rich and sweet, lots of chocolate and vanilla, slightly bitter roasty coffee notes, sprinkles of cinnamon, booze pretty well hidden. Very thick, full bodied, smooth.

Can, 13.5%. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, liquorice, cake and caramel. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, very sweet, coffee, cake, liquorice, caramel, vanilla, spices and a little bitter.
