Büchse (Dank am See!: Clear, deep ruby-amber coloured, small - but stable - tanned foamy layer, mild sweet-bitter toasty and syrupy nose, burnt malt detectable, herbal bitterness underneath; nearly moderate sweet-bitter flavour, quite light bodied for a Bock,but a bit sticky; thinnish toasty-bitter finish. Not disgusting, but no pleasure at all...

01-11-20 // 500ml can from ALDI. This is actually not too bad for a discounter beer. Roasted darker malts. Sweetness. Light roast bitterness.

Für einen dunklen Winterbock leider echt langweilig. Ich erwarte dunkle Malze und Power - hier kaum etwas davon, etwas Malz, Karamell, sehr süß, Malzbier.

50cl can. A clear dark reddish brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of dark moderate roasted malt, melasse, caramel. Taste of mid sweet dark malt, melasse, caramel, grains, mid sweet sticky finish.

can from local Aldi, brewed at Frankfurt/Oder. Deep brown colour, mid-sized foamy-fluffy beige head. Sweet malty nose. Sticky-sweet malty start, some reoasetd malts, some honey, shy woody hops in the finish.

Sampled from 0.5 l can from local 'Aldi', best before August 2021. Clear, very dark reddish brown with a large, dense, stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of caramel, raisins, redcurrant and hints of nuts. Rather sweet, malty, slightly fruity taste of caramel, molasses, raisins and a touch of chocolate, followed by a short, minimally bitter finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Actually not that bad, goes down easily even if very sweet.

Dunkler, süß malziger Antrunk. Weich, unauffällige Herbe, die Süße wird etwas schwächer und bleibt dann konstant. Süffig, massentauglich, nicht stark malzig oder alkoholisch. Trinkbar, eher langweilig. 8/8/11/8/10/8

Can at home, dark red/brown beer, small head. Aroma is raisins, sweet, malt, caramel. Taste is the same, sweet, light bitter and very raisins. Like those little boxes of raisins i got as a kid.
