Baeren Ihatov Sea Lager with Salt 5% Soft bready aroma and a touch of salt and fruity herbal hops. Ultra soft medium body and rounded carbonation. The classically bready lager is very nice with the salt making it hard to resist taking another sip right away. Really nice stuff. I got hints of honeyed maltiness in the aftertaste.

Recently: On tap, lovely! Light caramel, light hoppy bitterness, just a hint of the salt. Fantastic.
Previously: Not so exciting. Malty. Something a bit salty maybe. Interesting but once is enough.

Bottle from Yamaoka. A lager with sea salt added. Why? Not sure... Rich pilsner malt nose, herbal, noble hops, bread. Spot on German lager nose. Clear medium gold with a high, thick, tight head. Rich malt is nice. Hops are grassy and herbal, the salt comes over something like citrus hops, actually, and weirdly. Kicks in at the mid-palate and lasts into the finish. Not huge, though, which is good. Just a bit salty and savory. I don't see anything gained by the salt except local souvenir gimmickry, but the beer still is nice. Would probably be better sans sale.
