[May 2022] Amber pour with a small frothy white head and a sweet fruity aroma, also a bit dusty. Toffee sweet flavour and a hint of bitterness in the finish, a little disappointing truth be told

Cask at the Wellington bingoham. A clear deep amber burnt orange coloured pour with a a lasting speckled off white head. Aroma is nutty twiggy hop, fruit and nut. Flavour is composed of nice layered malts, nutty, toasted toffee, cakey malts, grassy hop, sileage. Nice. Palate is semi sweet, good cask condition.

Handpull cask from the Salmon, Leicester. Copper brown and clear with a beige/khaki head. Spicy and nutty aroma with light metallic notes. Sweet taste, slightly nutty again with caramel and some light stone fruit. Soft carbonation on a medium body. A very well-crafted bitter.

Cask at Moon under Water, Wolverhampton. Pours a copper red with a tight white head and good lacing. A malt nose is echoed in the mouth, where the taste is predominantly malted milk biscuits. Also some toffee and hints of spices. A bit watery but that is a good thing. Finish is bitter and hoppy. A nice solid traditional bitter.
