Bottle from Yamaoka. Fabulous fruity nose, grapefruit is main, also orange, lemon, light pineapple. Wheaty grains, not a whole lot of cloves and banana. Crisp. Bright, hazy golden with a medium head. Tangy, lovely fruit juice, grapefruit with light pineapple, plus some resins. Wheaty but not really like a weizen--not sure what yeast they used. Just a bit of banana. Zesty, bright, refreshing. Nice bready malts. Great stuff.

Fujizakura 22nd Anniversary Beer NE style dry-hopping Weizen 5% Great fragrant hoppy aroma with catpiss and spice that brought to mind Citra and Sorachi Ace. Lovely soft full golden hazy body with a dense white foam that last. The taste gives the same hopping up front with some herbal green bitterness in the finish but good white pepper spicy wheat notes. I don’t get anything that screams out Weizen to me but damn if it isn’t super drinkable. Really liking this one.
