Kräftig, malzbetont, mit der besonderen Hopfennote UND ausschließlich mit Bio-Hopfen und Bio-Malz gebraut. Der feincremige, naturfarbene Schaum und das kastanienfarbene Kleid lassen bereits auf das schließen, was nach dem ersten Schluck folgt. Brotige, röstmalzige Aromen, eingebettet in einen erdigen Körper, unterstrichen von einer anhaltenden fein-herben Bittere, die nachwirkt.

Bottle shared at the hotel during the Post Christmas Bamberg Jolly - January 2014. Pours clear amber-gold with a foamy, off-white head. Good stuff, moderately sweet, some toasted bread, light leafy hops. Light bodied with average carbonation. Semi-sweet finish, more bready malts, light dried caramel. Fine.

Bottle, 500 ml at Ambasada. Dark orange with medium white head. Malty, caramel, burnt, sweetish, watery. Bitter finish. Bit weird.

Bottle from Hausmann Getränke. Reddish brown, good head, nice nutty grain-and-caramel cookie nose. Very nice full body, complex nutty biscuit malt profile, mild earthy fall-forest-hiking bitterness. Excellent Dunkles!

Swing top bottle, 0.50l. Aroma of caramel, dandelion syrup, honey and flowers. Pours clear golden brown color with thin creamy tan-like head, fair lacing and soft visible carbonation. Taste starts with light to medium sweet caramel and dandelion syrup, following is grassy, floral and nutty, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is average bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Very nice and not overly sweet…
