La communauté monastique et le personnel de la brasserie ont le plaisir immense de vous annoncer la sortie de notre nouvelle bière : la Trappistes Rochefort « Triple Extra » !
Avant même la production des célèbres Trappistes Rochefort 6 – 8 – 10 dans les années 50, les moines de Rochefort ont brassé, en 1920 et pendant plusieurs années, une bière « blonde extra-forte ».
Cent ans plus tard, les Moines sont très heureux de brasser à nouveau une bière blonde forte inspirée de la recette originale : la Trappistes Rochefort « Triple extra ».
Moelleuse et avec un corps bien prononcé comme le sont nos classiques 6–8-10, la Triple Extra se distingue par sa couleur blond doré, ses notes d’agrumes et son parfum épicé.
Ce subtil mélange de tradition et de savoir-faire vous fera découvrir une bière rafraichissante qui ravira le palais des amateurs de bières de dégustation.
A déguster en toutes circonstances dans son verre Rochefort et à servir entre 6 et 9 degrés.

Eingetrübte goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Hefiger, würziger, fruchtiger Geruch. Geschmacklich hefig, würzig, fruchtig, malzig, leicht hopfig. Mittlere Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Aus der Flasche im 2023-06 getrunken. Dieses bronzene Ale kommt mit einen kräftigen Körper, leichten Hopfeneinfluss und deutlichen Hefeeinfluss und Bananaromen daher.

Bottle from Drinks Vanuxeem, Ploegsteert, Belgium. Pours a hazy golden/amber colour with a large thick creamy off white head. Quite a complex aroma with notes of mixed fruits (bananas and apricots), some caramel and also some bready and spicy notes. Taste is pretty much exactly the same notes as detected in the aroma with a malty backbone and a very smooth full buttery mouthfeel. Low carbonation with just a gentle fizz. A subtle earthy hop comes through late on the finish. Wonderful mouthfeel. Very well crafted beer. Excellent.

Almost clear golden, full foamy head with remaining laces. Dried plum and soap aroma. Taste of orange, syrup and dried fruit, nevertheless not too sweet thanks to adequate bitterness. Oily texture.

330 ml bottle. Pours a copper color with moderate head. Aromas of honey, sweet mashed fruit, Belgian yeast and soft toasted malts. Flavors of bitter orange, burnt banana, more mashed fruit leaning towards stoned fruit, and toasted malts. And oddly a bit of coconut!

Gentle fair rich bready malt up front. But then notes of booze, moslasses, citrus zest come roiling in. Finishing with sweet malts and citrus with a bite.

330ml @ Ryan's shared with Alex and Farees. BB 04-Jan-2025. Appearance: hazy pale golden with a huge white head. Aroma: flowery, dry, Belgian esters. Taste: along the same lines, bubbly, low to moderately sweet. Overall: good one.
