Bottle from The Beer Emporium, Bristol. Poured a hazy dark golden colour with a small solid white head. Aroma of caramel malt, grapefruit, and mild spices. Quite thin texture, average carbonation. Wasn’t keen on this.

Bottle from Gravity Station, Cardiff. Light amber with a massive creamy beige head. Hazy. Aroma is rose hips, cherry, vinous, spruce. A fruity sweetness in the taste quickly changes to an intense waxy bitterness. Long bitter finish. Very well made.

Little bit gushing, hazy amber brown colour, frothy tan head, recedes quickly, rim remains and lasting lacing. Hop nose, malt, spices, tangerine, fruit syrup, apricot, citrus, hint of licorice. Medium bitterness, slightly sweet, citrus notes, medium body, oily texture, astringent and woody finish. More like an IPA.
