33cl Blik. Had gehoopt dat de spiritus/groene appel nu verdwenen zou zijn na 3 jaar, maar helaas. Volle bak groene appel en spiritus in de aanzet, blijft helaas niet tot de geur beperkt, later komt wel meer vanille, gebrande mout, mokka, caramel, koffie, bruine suiker tevoorschijn, maar alles is dan al verpest voor mij. Medium tot volle body. Bijzonder matig dit, terwijl het zo mooi had kunnen zijn.

Canned. Deep coppery black, small white head. Aroma is caramel, some alcohol and some mild plummy tones with some toasted tones too. Flavour is toffee, nectar, alcohol, plum, figs and some sherry sweetness too.

Can. Almost clear dark amber beer, small tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Touch of dark chocolate in the malts but the dominant flavour here is bourbon soaked ripe fruits with a woody dry bitterness. Mild spice. Semi dry finish. Rich and tasty but the flavour profile is a bit on the bitterish side for me.

Can at home. Pours deep brown, nose is roasted, chocolate, toffee, vanilla, some green apple, taste is chewy caramel, raisin, vanilla, chocolate, sweet. --- Beer merged from original tick of Barrel Project 20.04 on 24 Apr 2021 at 14:18 - Score: 7

Almost black with thin head. Aroma has extreme amount of wood. Nice texture. Wood and alcohol. Later the aftertaste has plenty of cocoa and dark chocolate.

Smell of.. moonshine? Black colour, brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, tar, syrup, finishes with coffee. Some slight boozy flavour in background. Very sweet, heavy body. Rather sharp palate.

Dark brown colour, small beige head. Caramel, bourbon, wood, vanilla in the nose. Medium-bodied. Sweetish front, then some toastyness, bourbon, wood, dark chocolate. Hides its ABV well. Nice, very similar Bourbon domination than in many Kees Project beers.

Black colour, thin layer of beige foam. Nose of roasted malts, caramel, coffee, leather and whisky. Taste is sweet, caramel, roasty with a nice whisky finish. Good!

Can.black. Vanilla, roast, coconut and lots of bourbon in the aroma, malty sweet, caramel, soft roast, vanilla, but especially lots of bourbon.
