Kreis Bräu Hopfig Hell

Hopfig Hell

Kreis Bräu in Erlangen, Bavaria, Germany 🇩🇪

Brewed at/by: Gänstaller Bräu
  Lager - Helles Regular
Score
6.47
ABV: 4.7% IBU: - Ticks: 7

Bottle picked up from Bierothek Fürth. Consumed on the train back to Plattling from Nürnberg Hbf, Wednesday 18th June 2025 listening to The Notwist - Vertigo Days. Initially some cereal but opens up and a bitterness starts to come through, btw its a train beer straight from the bottle so I cannot be exact on the appearance though FWIW I'm expecting clear gold and white head. Nice hoppiness, not too strident but certainly leans just a tiny bit more towards pilsner, light fruity, slow meandering dry finish, but some maltiness en route. Good.

50cl bottle. A clear yellow golden beer with a white head. Aroma of mild grassy and spicy hops, pale malt. Taste of spicy and grassy bitter hops, pale malt, some grains. Long bitter finish.

Fläschla: Pale golden to golden, medium-sized and slowly collapsing white head, bitter-sweet grainy nose, delicate metallic traces underneath, dry herbal hops as well; mild to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; short bitter-grainy finish. Quite tame, quite inoffensive…

Kreis Bräu : hopfig hell, 4,7 %, Flasche (MHD: 07.09.21) von LBP24. - Dunkelgold, klar. (8.6.2021.)

Kernig getreidiger, deutlich herber Beginn. Gut! 9/12/11/11/8/12

26-02-19 // taster from a bottle at Brauhaus Neulich. Sharing with the team and brewer. Clear golden. Quite different approach to a Helles. Interesting. Bit still. A bit to unbalanced. Hop aromas are lightly present.
