We used the finest imported Pilsner malt and Belgian candi sugar to give this beer its’ light malt flavor and color, accented by the complex flavors and aromas imparted by our unique yeast strain.

7 ounce bottle from Vintage Cellar in Blacksburg, VA. 2008 Vintage. Pours a hazy dark amber color with a moderate frothy white head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of nutty bread notes with booze and caramel. Taste is caramel, bread, nuts, spice, apple and other dry fruit notes. Medium bodied.

Bottled. A dark golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has ntoes of spices, yeast, and fruits - especially peaches. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of alcohol, as well as medium notes of malt, spices - primarily coriander, and fruits - primarily peaches and pomerans. OK, but not great.

Delicious. Had it on tap at Rattle and Hum in NYC. Poured a rich, slightly cloudy gold. Aromas of cloves, flowers and spices. Very sweet and smooth.

35.5cl bottle; Hazy, golden colour with a short blond foamy head. Sweet and juicy, moderately fruity malty (pears, mango) aroma with spicy and hoppy notes. Bitter-sweet flavour, full bodied with a flat carbonation. Pale malty, slightly bready and restrained fruity taste with harsh bitter hoppy and spicy tones; bitter and slightly sweet malty finish with a sharp alcoholic note. A rough example of the style. 31.VIII.09

Location: 7 oz bottle from King Farm, 8/28/09

Aroma: Sugary and malty, some citrus fruits, really faint at first but opens up a bit as it warms
Appearance: Clear orange color, thin white head
Flavor: Bit of a tangy, bready, sweet flavor, similar to the nose in character but not as high quality
Palate: A bit on the light side, fizzy, metallic, and watery (what made the difference between 2 & 3)
Overall Impression: At first whiff I was thinking this wouldn't get a great score, after a sip or two and allowing it to breathe for a few minutes, it certainly improved on the nose side. Even then, it is just alright for me, nothing too special. I didn't dislike it, but if you are going to call a beer a tripel I need more complexity then this.

Golden color and standard big bubble head. . Yeast and fruits in aroma. Taste was not really impressive. Yeast, spices, that slight hop taste that all tripels have. Nothing that impressed my face off.

Medium white head. Deep yellow hazy body. Alcoholic yeasty bready aroma with resiny notes. Dry resiny mealy honey taste with citric bready notes. Mid-bodied. Dry medicinal resiny aftertaste with floral soft metallic notes. It’s not bad, but lacking in character. (0.355l bottle from hcalsos.)

This brew is a slightly cloudy golden orange color with a medium thin white head that dissipates steadily Thin strings of lacing on the glass. The aroma is mildly yeasty with some grass and banana notes. Light body with flavors of subtle yeast and spices along with some grassy and citrus notes. The finish is mildly spicy with some yeast and citrus in the aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.
