Cask at the Hare and Billet, Blackheath. Black pour with a beige head. Aromas of licorice, dark fruit and a splash of coffee. Nice roast laden flavours, a spot of licorice and black treacle here and there. Nice bitter kick. Sharp bitterness in the finish. Tasty.

330ml bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield - a beautiful black pour with a lacy white head, as nice as you’ll ever see from a bottle. The nose is fruit, malt, and more sour fruits. A bitter first bite, typical IPA, then malt and a bit of caramel. Nice oily feel, yet refreshing, great overall. Top notch.

Bottle from SarkyNorthener cheers Martin; almost black pour with a frothy light tan head, resinous pine aroma with a hint chocolate, taste has found fresh pine, like being hit with an xmas tree, plain chocolate, a hint of citrus, dark toasty malts, ticks all the CDA boxes.

Flaske 330ml fra House of Trembling Madness, York. Delt med Rune på Nerstranda 10 Des. 14. Ultradyp mørk amber. Lavt skum. Aroma av tørket frukt. Smaken litt tørr. Blir veldig bitter etter hvert. Alkoholsmaken skinner gjennom.

330ml bottle kindly shared by Finn. Good looking with a decent fawn-coloured head, spotty lacing down the glassware, and a dark brown coloured body with a rustic glint. Mixed aroma of dark fruits and dark malts. Brown and black malts upfront, caramel and chocolate, joined by bitter dark fruit and a nice little roastiness to the finish. Quite easy to drink. Clean in the mouth. Like it (Tromsø 10.12.2014).

Had this in bottle at Sytches Campsite, Much Wenlock, Shropshire, Thursday 21st August 2014 Pours more a very dark very brown as opposed to black, there is a good clarity. Roasted malts but smooth leading into a pleasant hoppiness. Tangy with a slender zippiness. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Cask at Craft Beer Co, Brighton. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a thin off white head on top. Roasty, malty, dark fruit aroma. Tastes similar, roasty, malty, dark fruit, a little chocolate and quite sweet.
