Cask at the Victoria Inn, Colchester. Pours almost black with a small beige head. Aroma of hops, chocolate, fruit, roasted malt and a touch of coffee. Toward medium sweetness with medium plus bitterness. Medium body and slight oily texture. Carbonation is soft. Finish is dry and has a great level of bitterness. A nice beer and pub to have celebrated my rating number 2000.
