A subtle and well-balanced beer, better than the sum of its parts. Yes, itโ€™s slightly nutty, slighty hoppy, slightly malty, slightly bitter - but thatโ€™s the good thing, all of these components are brought together so well.

Bottle at blind tasting. Copper colour. Not sure but could be pasteurised. Some cereal flavour. A bit dull. British bitter I would guess. Some herby hop. Hey, I got 2 things right. Its a British bitter and it was pasteurised.

Canned. Copperish colour, creamy big head. Mild sweet aroma. Caramellish sweet flavour mixed with hoppy bitterness. The bitterness grows in finish. Not much aftertaste.

Can (BB 08/2005)
Copper brown, thick creamy and brown nitro-kind-of head. Mild flowery aroma, slightly metallic. Creamy, smooth, watery. Sweetish hops and mild mouthfeel. Not much aftertaste. Really nothing special but actually ok session beer.

Clear orange color, small creamy head. Very bitter english style beer, with addition of a bit malty taste.

Amber coloured. Slightly ashy nose. Fruity and medium bodied. Solid, but one-dimensional.

A refreshing fairly hoppy ale with a creamy palate. A good beer in comparison to most of this style.
