Brewed in collaboration with Norway’s Lervig brewery, world leading imperial stout kings, this is a rich, velvety imperial stout brewed with munich, chocolate and dark crystal malts, plenty of oats, and a touch of lactose for enhanced mouthfeel. Over this robust base we added chocolate, vanilla and a touch of almond for truly decadent results.

440ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Pours an one-finger thick, tan-coloured head, remaining over a deep black body. Upper part lacing. Roasted mid-sweet, creamy chocolate malts on the nose. Distinct vanilla almond to the taste buds joined by grain and cocoa, lactose backbone. Gently roasted ending, smooth on the swallow. Nice sipper, just a little too sweet in the long run. (Tromsø 20,02.2021).

Panda at home, thanks to Fergoose, 13/01/21. Black with a good sized khaki head. Nose is marzipan, chocolate, faint vanilla, melted brown sugar, light roasted vibes. Taste comprises chocolate melt, almond flakes, toffee, syrup, molasses, sweet malts, kiss of alcohol. Full bodied, fine massaging carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Decent Pays-Tree fayre, especially considering this went out to a major supermarket, one of the top supermarche biers in lockdown for sure!

Can at home picked up from Morrisons. A dark black brown coloured pour with a lasting fine mid tan head. Aroma is semi sweet, black cherry, black forest gateaux, oily almonds, Flavour is composed of smooth chcolately malts, lactose, vanilla, cherry cola, almond milk, raspberry jammy culee. Adjunct forward, hides the abv well. Palate is medium sweet, rounded, slick , fine carbonation. Good fun especially for a supermarket beer.

Black with a beige head. Aroma of big marzipan, almond, licorice, cocoa, coffee, vanilla and roast. Flavour is heavy sweet and bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Damn heavy on the almonds, too much for my taste.
