Opaque black - brown beer with a good pale cream coloured head. Really nice pine and citrus on the nose. Palate is light, dry and crisp. Thin and dry dark malts, a bit wimpy. Tiny bit of lactose. Good spicy hops with a lesser touch of citrus. Finishes light and dry. It’s okay but falls in to the trap a lot of these low abv beers do, thin and slightly annoying.

330ml bottle. Ruby red glowing darkest brown colour with late awakening, small, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. PIney, herbal and citrusy hoppy aroma, dark malty background with a chocolately and minimally nuttily touch. Taste is nuttily and roasty dark malty, dry, cautious hints of coffee and chocolate, herbal and minimally piney, citrusy, bitter hoppy overtones; slightly watery. Quaffable ad infinitum.
