Bottle shared. Clear golden with small white head. Pils malts, soft dough, light herbal, honey, light paper. Medium sweet and light bitter. Crisp body with fizzy carbonation. Ça va.

25 cl bottle as Jade Blonde at Stéphane Tournié's Les Jardins de l'Opéra, Toulouse. Incredibly expensive: 8€ per bottle. Preposterous. It pours bright golden with some greenish highlights and a super-short lived white head. Aroma is cantaloupe melon, honey and quince. Taste is dry, light, slightly bitter. Not worth the price by a mile.

Organic beer made by this established northern French brewery, from a 75 cl bottle shared by Craftmember, cheers! Snow white, medium thick, loosely structured head lacing in specks over a clear, warm ‘old gold’ coloured beer. Aroma of cream corn, wet grass, cotton cloth, sweetbread, ‘honey waffles’, red apple, plastic, iron. Sweetis onset, all but neutral in terms of fruitiness except for an apple-ish note, simple with medium carbonation, rounded and slightly creamy mouthfeel. Cereally middle with thin metallic edges, straightforward with minerally side notes and something less pleasantly rubbery; soft grassy hop bitterish touch in the end but too limitedly so to lend the finish any substance, so that the beer falls a bit ‘flat’ in the end. Sweet, simple, bland and a bit metallic, this is basically a semi-industrial pale lager with low ambitions in terms of flavour, but it admittedly went down easily.
