Taster size glass from tap @ Beer Temple. Amber color, hazy. Firm off white head. Aroma’s of sour fruit, caramel, citrus, and additionally sweetbread/cake and yeast retronasal. Flavor is only lightly sweet, caramel, somewhat fruity sour, moderate bitter. Light bodied. Finishes rather bitter. Interesting hybrid, a bit too fruity I would say.

Bottle from trade with fonefan, many thanks, Jan. Hazy dark amber color with huge stabel off-white head. Citrus and herbal hops in aroma. Taste, malt, Belgian hops, some fruitiness, big portion of hops with oranges, tangerines, grapefruit, grapefruit zest, pines. Long hoppy bitter finish. Lovely,

Bottle at the Beer Temple, Amsterdam Open Bottle evening, April 2014. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is big zesty citrus yeast. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a big yeast, woody hop, light resin palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

330ml bottle from Saveur-biere

BBE 02/10/15 - Pours dark orange with a smooth white head. Aroma of wet grassy hoppiness, some sweet toffee and caramely malts. Taste is smooth, sweetish and grassy with some gooseberries, toffee and caramel. Finish is stuffy, malty and sweetish with some grassy hoppiness. A bit strange.

A pretty, dark orange beer with a dense, quite big and beige head. The aroma is nice, lots of tropical fruits, mangos and citrusfruits, also some belgian fruits from the yeast and marsmellows, the end is spicy. Taste is strongly fruitfull, medium bitterness and nice spicyness. Medium bodied, high carbonation that slowly calms down. Very nice beer with complex fruits from two continents combined with nice spicyness. I like this beer.

Hazy amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is airy and slightly soft, good fine carbonation. Smooth malt, light cream. Lightly bitter pine hops backed by nice mellow tropical fruits, peach and mango led. Little black pepper before a smooth finish. Nice beer!

Bottle @ Beer Temple shared with Steve, the Detroit fellow ;) Slightly hazy dark orange color, medium sized off-white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma has malts, fruityness, yeastyness of a Belgian triple and hops. Taste malts, hops, some fruityness, again that Belgian triple yeast and flavor come through clearly. Very good ’blend’ of those styles. Medium body and carbonation.
