Tap at the Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Poured a hazy dark brown with a thin off-white head. The aroma is big malt citrus. The flavour is medium bitter light sweet with a watery light spice, zesty citrus palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Super fruity and refreshing but not like any mild I’ve ever had before!

The Rake. Clear amber beer, little pale tan head. Palate is light and dry. Papery dry malt, a little cream. Touch of caramel. Supermild citrus. Dry minerally finish. Papery, dry and dull - a shocker!

Keg at the Earl of Essex - London. Pours clear russet with a tight, creamy tan head. Nose carries caramel, raisins, ripe berries and other ripe fruits. Light to medium sweet flavor, plenty of ripening berries, grapes, toffee, some lightly toastd bready malts. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish with creamy and fruity toffee, more grapes. Pretty tasty overall.

Clear red colour, white head. Malty aroma, red fruits, light caramel. Malty sweet flavour, light liquorice. Quite thin body, almost watery. Quite sweet finish, dry in the end.
Not quite complex enough to be interesting.

Sample at GABF 10/13/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking. Clear copper-brown color with a medium light beige head and strings of lace. Aroma of toasted malt and caramel. Light-bodied with a sweet malt character and notes of mild hops and caramel. The finish is short and malty. Decent overall.

Draught @ Beer Temple. Clear red to amber-brown color, medium sized off-white head that leaves a fair lacing. Smell malts, lightly caramel, lightly some fruitiness like plums, raisins, black currant. Dark fruits anyway. Taste malts, dark fruits (again plums, raisins, black currant), a light sour hint, slightly yeast. Medium body, medium carbo.
